Why is this true?  Because of several reasons, the first the lot will be busy, that means that any sales person you speak to might be distracted.  Might feel a sense of pressure to rush through your sale to attend other customers. Also, the other reason is that most people work during the weekdays, 9-5 and therefore their weekends are sacred.  Unless you are a gear-head and love cars, the idea of spending one of your two free days dealing with car salesman is probably not high on your list of priorities.

• The best time of the month to get a new car is towards the end.  Go to your local dealership because there is usually an end of the month quota for many car salesmen, so you may get a little extra taken off the top.  Thus allowing some wiggle room when it comes to getting a few dollars off your car purchase.  There is more pressure from their sales managers to meet their sales expectations.
